Further developments at Porto West

Construction in Block 11 will continue with three new houses as the previous three houses have now been sold. The houses to be built are of both the Common Crane and Swan models. The first of the houses will be completed later this year, the others during the spring of 2023. There are now 16 properties in total in the Porto West area.

The Porto West marina has also been developed and several new berths have been added. The dock has been piled, which makes it possible to attach boats to the side, and the breakwater has been improved allowing larger boats to anchor in the harbor. The project will be completed during May.

Building in Block 11 has begun

Thanks to good demand, building in the following block has begun and the new area will receive two houses during autumn. In addition to the popular Swan, Porto West will also receive its first Common Crane – the latest house model from Architect Kim Eklund launched  earlier this year. The Common Crane is the largest of four house models with its 113 square meters in one story and an extra bedroom thanks to the longer house structure. Unlike the Swan-house, this model does not feature a loft but the high ceiling remains. Block 11 can accommodate 8 villas in total.
 
Block 12 will also receive a new house during the autumn – a Tern is currently being built and will be ready in December 2021.

New Tern-house for sale

The popular Swan-model will now be accompanied by the slightly smaller Tern (68 m2). Porto West and Teijo Log begin collaboration

The local aspect is important for Porto West, who will start to collaborate with Teijo Log from Kimito Island. Teijo Log provides ecological wooden houses and will begin to manufacture Porto West’s smallest house model Tern in its factory in Dalsbruk. The collaboration kicks off with two houses for block 12 and the first house is expected to be completed before the end of 2021. Read more about Teijo Log and their philosophy at www.teijolog.com.

Porto West launches new house model

Architect Kim Eklund has designed a new house model for Porto West, which will be available in the following block. The fourth house model is now the largest model with its 113 square meters in one story. Unlike the Swan-house, this model does not feature a loft but the high ceiling remains. The longer house structure accommodates a third bedroom, which can also be used as a library. The walk-in closet can be converted into an extra bathroom in the planning phase. The Beach Pavilion is ready

The Porto West beach pavilion was completed in July and is now available and bookable to residents. Inside you will find a kitchen with tableware and a dining area with tables and benches. The terrace has an outdoor table with chairs and a Tiileri outdoor kitchen. Everything is crowned by a magnificent seaview! Residents can also book the pavilion for private use for 50 €.
